Production Blog: Before the Music Video

Image
For the Music Video, we decided to go and film at my friend’s residence. This is due to a clubhouse being really close to his house which made it easier to film. Before the filming, I first had to make sure I had all the equipment needed. This was because I was the main actor for the film. I made sure to get swim goggles, athletic clothes, boxing gloves, and some tennis shoes. Getting this equipment was fairly easy as I already had most of them before the project started. I went over the music choice we made before the film, and talked it over with my group mates on a call. This was to ensure we had the proper music choice that would best fit the style of the video. Now as for the acting, I had to prepare myself before the filming. I made sure to practice my butterfly strokes (swimming) as I knew it had to look good for the video. I did this by going into the pool near my house every day and doing laps just consisting of the butterfly stroke. I also had to make sure my cardio was good ...

Planning for our Music Video

Image
Props: For our props we will need a variety of sports equipment, to athletic equipment. These should include boxing gloves, a boxing bag, and weights to lift for the shots. We also may need other props like a treadmill or other workout equipment which we can find at a gym.  Costumes: For this ad, we would have to have 1-2 people acting. Our actors will have to have athletic clothing on. This can include a plain shirt, a workout shirt, and some shorts or jogger pants. With running shoes, for the usage of a treadmill or for running on the track.   Location list: For the film, we will have different filming locations. One of them being a track, so that we could film some shots of running there.   Another location being in a gym, which is useful because we can find most of the workout equipment we need there. We also selected a gym because it is indoors, and it ensures that we can film at any time.  Backup plan: If it rains on the day we want to film on t...
