Planning Blog: Title Design

We have decided to do two different fonts, one for the title of the movie and one for the credits and people listed under the credits.   One font will be Times New Roman at font size 48 for the credits and people listed in the credits:   Actors   The other font will be chiller at font size 72 and this will be for the title of the movie.   Unkown Caller   The color for our font will be white. An example of this is: The title of our film will be Unknown Caller.   The titles will fade into the screen, stay there for 3 seconds and then fade out.   It is important for the audience to read the titles, so they know who contributed to what aspect of the movie and it is important for them to read the title of the movie so they get some understanding as to what the movie may be about.   Main Actor: David Suciu

Planning Blog: Other Information

Title Research: Seven (1995)

What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?   The opening sequence of Seven shows the names of the main actors, like Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman, along with the movie's title. It also includes the director, producers, and other important crew members like the editor and cinematographer. The text is written in a scratched, flickering font that looks creepy and fits the movie's dark tone. The credits are presented in a way that immediately feels unsettling.   What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?  The opening focuses on strange and disturbing images. There are close-up shots of someone's hands cutting photos, writing in notebooks, and making mysterious files. You also see sharp objects, fingerprints, and blurry pictures.
