Editing Blog: Music and fixing
For the editing, I helped out a lot in the music portion. First, me and my group mates met on a call, and we began to discuss what we should add, or fix for the commercial. As I said, my portion was pretty much the music and fixing any bugs or glitches in the film. I had to make sure that the music would fit the overall theme and tone of the commercial. This ended up being a more intense and dramatic music to fit the commercial. I then had to make sure the music fit the overall pacing and different shots of the commercial. This way a really intense part of the music wouldn't play for just me doing something simple like setting up the ball. Other than this, I made sure that the music would cut off at certain moments where we needed the audio to be emphasized. I also made sure that it fit within the time frame of the commercial and wouldn’t go over the time we needed. I sent my group mates around 3 different choices of music for the commercial.
