Pitch Blog

Pitch 1: Believer by Imagine Dragons  I would be interested in filming this pitch. This song goes with the theme we had in mind for this music video. We also thought as a group that the scenes could have a cool impact with each loud clap of the song. Acting out this song would not be difficult either or could be relatively like the other song in terms of scenes. Believer has an upbeat tempo that aligns with the theme of our music video.  Pitch 2: Till I collapse by Eminem  I would also be interested in using this music for the pitch. This song would work well for an idea based on motivation or working out, due to the lyrics in the song. The only problem with this pitch is that we would have to use a clean version since the original has profanity in it. I also feel that it wouldn’t be that difficult to act out a scene while using the song, and it would incorporate well with the music video. This song would also allow for longer scenes, and most likely less editing work, gi...

Group Blog

I have chosen to work in a group for this project. We have made some changes to the group compared to last time. We have chosen to not work with Lucas Hale Florez for this project. And I also keep in touch with him on a regular basis whether on school or outside of school. The first member of my group is Robert Neagu. Robert is in my group because I recently made friends with him and he said he was decent at editing. So he will be working on that mostly. My next member of my group is Khamaree Jeudy.  Khamaree is one of my good friends and I have spoken to him for a while. I know I will always be in contact with him throughout the project. I also know that meeting with him won't be a problem. I chose these two as my group mates due to their work ethic. I know that they will assist in completing the project, and that they won't slack off. I also believe that they have different qualities such as editing or directing which could help split up the work. I chose to work with a gro...

Hello, welcome back to my blogs!  My name is David Suciu, I am in the 10 th  grade at Fort Lauderdale Highschool. My birthday is August 31 st , 2009. I am currently 15 years old. My family is from Romania and came to the United States before I was born. I can speak the language and do the traditions from the country. My family came in hopes of better opportunities for me and work. I like to swim and play soccer with my friends after school. I like eating various types of meat and soups. I have a dog named Thor who is a French Bulldog. Other than meats, fruits, and other soups my favorite food of all time must be the crepe. If I ever have spare time, I usually play video games. If I’m not playing video games, I’m usually lying in bed or watching shows. I’ve been to Romania and traveled around Europe, going to countries like Germany and the United Kingdom. As of right now I don’t know what college I want to go too, or if I will move out of Florida. In terms of athletics a...

CCR - After the Commercial

Image
For my group’s commercial, we attempt to follow the conventions and norms of a normal Gatorade ad, but with our own spin and creativity to it. We did this by including different shots and angles to have the actor appear smaller, and visibly tired, to the introduce the Gatorade. We also had close ups and tilts which is also following the conventions of a normal Gatorade ad. However, we did try to challenge it a little in our own way by adding things such as a Dutch angle shot, and a unique way to bring Gatorade into the commercial. The up beat music at the end however was following research that we saw in the Gatorade and other sports drink commercials, which my group believed would be satisfying for the viewers. Our project is geared towards athletes and different sports competitors around the world. We are trying to attract athletes to drinking Gatorade as we claim it hydrates better than water. Its also geared towards the teams, fans, coaches, and others that may view or partake...

The Finished Product

My Commercial This was the first video me and my group have worked on together this year. This was the first test of our skills, and filmmaking abilities for this class. I believe that we could have made many improvements on it, but I am also proud of me and my group for being able to complete this film, as it shows how much we were able to do without all the skills in the course.
