Planning Blog: Script

 Inside the Teenagers Bedroom: 

The room is messy, with clothes and trash scattered around. While a lazy teenager sits on his bed, scrolling on his phone. 

A Close-Up Camera Shot: Zooms into the phone as notifications pop up, then fades. That atmosphere then gets eerily quiet, too quiet that it is unnerving.  

Teenager: 

(mumbling to himself) 

Just another boring weekend, he says.  

(Sets phone down on counter than lays back in bed) 

Suddenly his phone rang. With the tag “UNKNOWN CALLER”. (Could implement an over the head shot of the teenager picking up his phone) 

The teenager hesitates but answer anyways out of boredom and curiosity. 

Teenager: 

Hello? 

Anonymous Caller: 

(deep, mysterious, distorted voice) 

Do you know where your parents are? 

(The teenager freezes, confusion turning into feelings of unease.) 

Camera shot: Teenager drops the phone in terror (possible slow effect for dramatic effect) 

It then cuts into the teenager fear-stricken eyes (while it is dead silent with only heartbeats and his rushed breathing) 

Teenager: 

Who is this? What do you want? 

The caller does not answer but instead lets out a low, chilling laugh. The line goes dead. 

Camera shot: Pans from the teenager standing there after the line disconnects as he slowly walks to his bed (before he can take a seat a loud thud comes from within his house) 

Camera movement: For immersion the video will be in first person from the eye of main character (as he slowly walks out of his room peeking out into the hallway. 

Inside the Dark Mysterious House: 

The hallway was completely dark and quiet only being able to hear the teenager's footsteps and breathing. 

Camera Shot: Over-the-shoulder as the teenager creeps down the dark hallways 

Teenager: 

Mom? Dad? 

No one answered... 

The teenager hears someone elses faint breathing coming from the living room. 

Camera Movement: A tracking shot follows the teenager into the living room. 

The teenager finds the TV on static, the remote on the floor. A shadow moves in the corner of his eye. 

Camera Shot: A close-up of the teenagers panicked face. 

The phone then rings again louder this time. The teenager slowly returns to his phone. 

He answers... 

Anonymous Caller: 

You should have stayed in your room 

Lous bang noise from the living room then cuts to the teenagers face, white with terror. 

Then finally the screen cuts to black, end.
