Goals and Aims

 This weekend will be when we begin the filming. Filming has been overdue. Originally supposed to film around two weeks ago and then immediately begin editing. Now, we have limited time, so we must make use of it. I'm going to my friend's house with now all the preparations and materials needed. He already confirmed with me that its okay that day to film. The whole group is able to go, so now there is no conflict (hopefully). I've already told my parents, and they agreed to take me. Safety and parental supervision are there as well, in case of any accidents during film. It would be ideal if we could get the entire filming process done. But, if we aren't able to on Saturday, then we can always use Sunday as an extra day. As said before, I suggested to use a weekday after school for filming. Although, this is even less ideal as we lose time. Plus, it may be difficult to fit in the schedule due to school and after school activities. Even. though we will probably finish on Saturday due to the amount of time and it being a weekend. Hopefully after filming we can finish the editing in around a week. It's pretty important to have as much time as possible to edit. Mostly because editing may take a while due to the different titles and effects we may use. After that, we can use the following week to revise and make any small changes or tweaks. I hope that this is the best final task we could possibly create, and that it really leaves an impact on the viewers.

Editing Blog: Music and fixing

For the editing, I helped out a lot in the music portion. First, me and my group mates met on a call, and we began to discuss what we should add, or fix for the commercial. As I said, my portion was pretty much the music and fixing any bugs or glitches in the film. I had to make sure that the music would fit the overall theme and tone of the commercial. This ended up being a more intense and dramatic music to fit the commercial. I then had to make sure the music fit the overall pacing and different shots of the commercial. This way a really intense part of the music wouldn't play for just me doing something simple like setting up the ball. Other than this, I made sure that the music would cut off at certain moments where we needed the audio to be emphasized.  I also made sure that it fit within the time frame of the commercial and wouldn’t go over the time we needed. Our Storyboard

  Scene 1:   The camera is looking down at the ground. The ground is bare, and there’s little movement.  Scene 2:   The camera shifts to show someone setting a soccer ball with their foot. The ball is placed carefully as the camera lingers on it for a moment.  Scene 3:   A close-up of player 1, who is visibly sweaty, emphasizes their exhaustion. Audio of player 1 breathing heavily plays in the background.  Scene 4:   The audio bridges into the next shot. The next shot is from player 1’s point of view, looking at the goalkeeper (player 2). This shot is at a Dutch angle, adding tension and unease. The camera's movement is unstable, mimicking player 1’s disoriented state.
