Scheduling Issues
Production Blog, scheduling difficulties: I had some scheduling difficulties with my group. We were supposed to film the first week after our storyboard. However, that ended up going south. We didn’t film when we were supposed to. And our storyboard was due, which we couldn’t get in properly on time. The next scheduling difficulty that occurred was when we pushed it back to the next week. One of my group members weren’t in the country due to being on vacation. They were in LA, across the United States, far from my friend’s house. Since they were out visiting family, we had little to no contact with them. Plus, even if we did have contact, I’m not sure how that would help with filming if they weren’t even in the state. My group wanted everyone to be there for the filming. Obviously, with one of my teammates gone, we didn’t film that week either. This caused us not to be able to film for two (2) weeks past our original date that we were supposed to film. This is a hindrance due to leaving us with less time for editing with our final task. Which may make my final task look more rushed. This may garner us a lower score. However, I believe that my group will be able to bounce back from this hindrance. We now plan to film this week for sure, without any difficulties. If not, then it will happen on a weekday after school. This was a small trial that we will overcome. The production of the film will continue as normal.
