Editing!

Welcome back to my blog, again. My team and I have finished filming completely, which is what I talked about before. This time, we were going to have to edit. I used cap cut for the editing process, due to finding it easier than other editing software's. While not being the main person for editing, I still decided to try. Me and my other teammate were both going to edit the videos on our own and come together to decide which we would use for the final task. I started off with getting all of the film from my friend that recorded it and transferring it to my computer. Then, I downloaded it all on my computer, and made sure it was saved. I was now finally able to upload all the film to cap cut. This process took around ten minutes to complete. I reviewed every recording to make sure it was the correct one we would use. After that, I then organized all of the videos in order. From the establishing shot to the very end. I compiled all of them into one and made sure each clip played one after another. I trimmed out any extra seconds that needed to be cut out of each video. I also trimmed or cut out anytime where I laughed or smiled during the video. For the establishing shot, since there were people talking around us, I turned down the volume/muted that part of the film. I plan to try and add some non digetic sound here because of this. Editing is definitely going to be a rough task. However, I believe that me and my group will persevere and be able to finish this film.
