We have decided to do two different fonts, one for the title of the movie and one for the credits and people listed under the credits.   One font will be Times New Roman at font size 48 for the credits and people listed in the credits:   Actors   The other font will be chiller at font size 72 and this will be for the title of the movie.   Unkown Caller   The color for our font will be white. An example of this is: The title of our film will be Unknown Caller.   The titles will fade into the screen, stay there for 3 seconds and then fade out.   It is important for the audience to read the titles, so they know who contributed to what aspect of the movie and it is important for them to read the title of the movie so they get some understanding as to what the movie may be about.   Main Actor: David Suciu  

 Inside the Teenagers Bedroom:  The room is messy, with clothes and trash scattered around. While a lazy teenager sits on his bed, scrolling on his phone.  A Close-Up Camera Shot: Zooms into the phone as notifications pop up, then fades.  What conventions of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?  Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol incorporates several thriller elements, such as suspense, high-stakes danger, and the constant threat of failure. The tension builds as the team races against time to prevent a nuclear disaster, creating a feeling of urgency. The movie also features moments of mystery, like uncovering hidden motives and dealing with unknown enemies. These conventions keep the audience on edge throughout the story.  What conventions of the genre did the movie have that you liked?   I liked how the movie used suspense to heighten tension in key scenes, such as the Burj Khalifa climbing sequence and the infiltration of the Kremlin.  - What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?  The titles of who created the film, the name of the movie (Hostage), names of actors, names of the castors, the person who created the music, the co-producer, the costume designer, the editors, the production designer, the director of photography, the executive producers, the producers, screenplay, what novel the movie was based off of, and the movie director are all titles displayed during the opening sequence.  We have decided to use the thriller genre for our movie. One of the mains reasons we have decided to use this genre is because of the tension it gives to the audience. The creativity and engagement that thriller movies give to audiences is very appealing to us. Another big reason as to why we would rather do a thriller movie is that it can incorporate a wide variety of themes. The suspenseful feeling that you get when you watch a thriller movie is what we are going to try to replicate in ours. We also have a lot of experience watching thriller movies and we believe we would do best in the thriller genre. 

 Common CAMS in the genre:  Common camera angles in horror films are high angles, low angles, Dutch angle, extreme close up, and over the shoulder shots. Common camera movements in horror films are tracking shots, zooming in and out, pan, and they use a handheld camera to make the scenes more intense. Common shots used are wide shots, point of view shots, overhead shots, and close up shots.  Common CLAMPS in the genre:  The villains in horror films often wear a costume and a mask to make them threatening. The victims will typically where casual clothes. There is low-key lighting, flickering lights, shadows and silhouettes used to build tension and show danger. Actors widen their eyes and scream to convey fear. The villain has a slow walk to show they are strong. The victims have blood, scars, and other injuries.
